With retroactive effect from 01.01.1998 Gebrüder Trox GmbH in Neukirchen-Vluyn (Germany) have taken over HESCO Pilgersteg AG in CH-8630 Rüti (Switzerland). The Trox group, manufacturers of ventilation and air-conditioning components with 11 production plants worldwide and 2,200 employees had a group turnover of 395 millions DM in 1997. With a staff of 150 employees Hesco, an important manufacturer of air-conditioning components in Switzerland and subsidiaries in France and Germany made 32 millions CHF in total in 1997. Also in future the two companies will act independently in all markets. They will mutually extend their power of innovation in order to be able to offer attractive products and systems in line with market requirements.
