TROX has established a new subsidiary in Dubai. TROX Middle East (LLC) was launched at the end of November 2006. The new business premises were occupied on 25 April 2007. Representing the owner, Heinz Trox, the chairman of the TROX GmbH supervisory board, Dr Wilhelm Dettmering, noted in his opening address that TROX has already been active in Dubai for 25 years. Dettmering emphasised that TROX has confidence in the country’s continuing growth.

A permanent exhibition of TROX products is attached to the new TROX competence centre in Dubai. The modern airflow studio enables the functions of these products to be locally demonstrated.

TROX has already participated in many projects in the Gulf region. The most noteworthy examples were the Burj Al Arab Hotel, the Etisalat HQ in Sharjah, several major projects at Dubaiairport, the Guest Palace for visiting guests in Bait Al Barakah, Oman and the Conference Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
